Colombian Cooking
Colombian food is diverse and full of flavor. Beyond the need to eat to survive, Colombian food is the pretext to share with others, to talk, tell stories and build ties between family and friends. The loaded red wine, the fried ones, the arepas, the fruits and the contrasts between sweet and salty are some of the recurring foods in Colombian homes.
More than trying the various Colombian flavors, learning the art of serving them is what concerns us in this class “A la Colombiana”. The central dish is the patacones with hogao, for dessert we have sweet plantain with costeño cheese and guava sandwich and after-dinner red wine or passion fruit juice. It is possible to choose one of these dishes or all three. Learning the art of Colombian cuisine is ideal for families, couples or singles looking to delight in these traditional preparations.
